The Microsoft OneNote Mobile note-taking application for the iPhone provides access to your notes when you're away from the office. Though the application does not include all of the features of the PC or Mac versions of the program, you can view, create and edit notes on your phone. One of the editing options is to change the title of a note, which can help improve the organization of your notes.
1.Tap 'OneNote' on the iPhone's home screen to open the application.
2.Sign in to your Microsoft account if you aren't automatically logged in. You can sign up for a Microsoft account if you do not currently have one by tapping 'sign up' and filling in the fields that appear with the information requested.
3.Navigate to the note that you want to edit, and touch the name of the note to open it on the screen.
4.Tap behind the last word of the title, which is in bold font at the top of the screen, to place the cursor. The virtual keyboard appears on the screen.

OneNote for iOS includes some settings in the device settings that aren’t accessible via the app. To access these settings, tap the Settings icon on your device’s Home screen and tap the OneNote icon in the Settings pane at the left. The OneNote settings then appear at the right, and are as follows:
- Sync on Wi-Fi Only: If you have a limited amount of data to work with, you’ll probably want to toggle this item to On so that you don’t wind up going over your data limits.
- Reset Application: If you have sync or other errors that don’t fix themselves by restarting OneNote, toggle to On and then restart OneNote to reset the app. You’ll have to sign in to the app; this option automatically toggles itself to Off.
- Version: You can’t change this “setting”; it simply lists the version of the app that’s on your device.
